Bear Lake

BEAR LAKEWe went to Bear Lake in Northern Utah/Idaho border w/ James' family and had a blast! It is the neatest place! It is the most beautiful blue/torquise water and sandy beaches it's like we have the ocean in Utah except the water is kind of cold but you get used to it! The kids spent hours digging in the soft sand, and catching frogs! I can't wait to go back next summer!!

Loved It!!!
We let Dayton take two friends to the History of Ancient Life Museum for his birthday. It's basically the biggest Dinosaur museum in the nation and it's at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Ut! It is sooooo cool! It's so big and so much for the kids to do and see! It also has and I-max that rocks and lot's of hands on activities like digging for fossils and making imprints. One of our favorite parts is an area you walk throught that is pitch dark with tiny stars. It feels like you are floating in space. So much fun!!!
My little Boy is growing up!! (April 22nd)
Dayton's 9th Birthday was so much fun! I can't believe how big he is getting! He got the two things he wanted most, drums for guitar hero and a wii points card! A couple of his friends came over and we did cake and ice cream and opened presents!
Snow 1st of April...What the Heck??
Tiff came up to visit and we got snow! The kids had fun! We had a hard time trying to find gloves for her kids and warm clothes to fit. Tiff hates the cold so she wasn't happy about it too much so we just let the kids play and then loaded them up and did what her and I do best...SHOP!!!

**SNOW TODAY!**
This is our house and we woke up this morning to another 4 inches of snow. The snow makes everything look so pretty. I love the mountains they look so beautiful covered in snow!
I came home from work today to find James pulling the kids w/ his 4-wheeler. I was wishing I could fit on the sled because it looked so fun. It was freezing though it was 20 degrees. There faces were bright red when they came in.

Holiday's Are Over :(
It always is such a sad feeling when Christmas is over!! We prepare for so long and then its over and done with so fast. I had planned to go to Eagar for Christmas all year, but when Christmas falls in the middle of the week its always hard for us to get away. We would've had to have had employee's stay and work half a day Christmas Eve and then all day Friday and Saturday and someone at our Laudromat on Sunday. I was really sad to miss the great "Finch Party" at my Grandpa Tom's house on Christmas Eve and haven't seen my dad's side of the family since Christmas '06. That's pretty sad!!!! I hate not being able to see my parents and siblings too and not be at my parents house Christmas morning. So hopefully next year we'll be in Eagar for sure! We had lots of fun here in Utah. James' family came over Christmas Eve along with one of my good friends and her husband. We ate yummy food and played some fun games. Then our new tradition is to go to the "Festival of Lights" here in Spanish Fork. It's up the canyon at the golf coarse. You drive thru a big arrangement of lights that are so amazing and fun, it takes about 15 minutes to drive thru and look. It's so cool. We have gotten so much snow and it snowed all day and night Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It was a perfect white Christmas! I was a dork and used the video camera the whole time and hardly took any pictures. Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday Season!!!
One of the funnest parts of Christmas is seeing some of your presents wrapped before Christmas and trying to guess what's in them. Well, this year we couldn't because of Holland, she is into everything! We couldn't put ornaments on the bottom of the tree either. Oh... the joy's of a crawling baby:)
All Jayden wanted from Santa was this Little Mommy Potty Doll (above) that talks and says she has to go to the bathroom. It came with a toilet that flushes and a sink. The toilet actuallly has poop in it. haha! It's hilarious.

POOR BABY!!
So Holland has severe eczema. We've been to her pediatrician multiple times. They all say try this cream and this oral medicine over and over. So I started taking her to the allergist because some say that eczema is an allergy. We've had her tested for all the numerous food allergy and they said she's allergic to eggs and nuts. But because she isn't eating those now that can't be the cause. Last week I took her to a dermatologist and he did "patch testing." He tested her for all the common soaps, detergents, perfumes, lotions, etc. She had to wear 85 patches for 3 days. Its was FUN! They kept coming un-taped. It was hard to keep them all on. They were down her back and into her diaper area and her poop would get on them. It SUCKED!! She was such a trooper though. You would think that they would itch and they probably did but she is so used to being so itchy she probably thought it was normal. Her face is our saddest concern. She never has clear skin on her face. I feel so bad and hope to get to the bottom of this! For an itchy baby she sure is HAPPY! We love her!

I went to see Twilight the second night it opened and it was insane!! We were there 2 hours early and still like 60 people in line ahead of us. I went with about 1o friends and trying to hold spots was hard. People get so crazy over something. I LOVED THE MOVIE! You can tell they didn't have a big budget for it, so it was lame in some parts but I loved most of it. Kristen played the perfect Bella I think she is beautiful and Robert was soooooo Hot as Edward. I'll see it a couple more times.

Tiffany was here in Utah visiting me this weekend and insisted that I start a blog. So here it is. I'll admit its very fun and so addicting, but i'm still new at it and trying to figure it out so bear with me. I'm so excited to be able to keep in touch w/ everyone and see everyone's cute families. Especially because I live so far and I feel like I never go home . My main blog picture is before Holland was born and it was about 2 years ago, Jayden was so mad she did not want to smile or take the photo. I'll have a new family one w/ all of us on here soon. Our life is pretty crazy with our kids, dog, church, and two businesses. We live in Spanish Fork, UT. I love it, except being so far away from my family! We have 3 kids. Our son Dayton is 8, Jayden (aka daddy's princess) is 5, and our baby Holland is 10 months old. Besides owning our two businesses in Orem we have some other (hopefully big) things in the works. James and I have been married for 10 years and its definetly been an adventure. We met at a resturant we both worked at called "The Brick Oven" its on BYU campus. Things happened so fast! We met, fell in love and were engaged within 3 months. I do have to say, (and he gets so much crap for it) James told me he loved me 5 days after we met. ha ha! He was a full time student at UVSC (now UVU). We moved to Mesa the first year we were married then moved back to Utah so he could finish school. The week we moved back I found out I was pregnant w/ Dayton. We were so excited. James finished school a couple years later. He graduated w/ a bachelor's in International Business w/ a minor in Japanese( he went to Japan on his mission). I wanted to move back home but opportunity for us was better here so we started a couple of businesses, had a few more kids and here we are! My kids and husband are the light of my life. I'm so thankful for them, for my amazing family and extended family, for my Heavenly Father, my Savior and the blessings that we have.
Halloween
Halloween was so much fun!! I'll admit I'm a little obsessed w/ it. My house is decked out to the max with decorations. Dayton dressed up as two different costumes because at school you can't wear masks so I thought he could be Dracula for school and The Grim Reaper for trick or treating. Jayden our cute little bumble bee, and Holland was a strawberry. Our neighborhood goes completely overboard for Halloween. At the end of the culd-de-sac they set up a haunted house, hay ride, booth's w/ games, a huge stage for skits and dance numbers w/ a DJ, and a projector screen for a late night kid-friendly scary movie. Plus a pot-luck dinner! The kids have so much fun!! The weather for it was perfect (which doesn't happen very often)!!
